The painted part is heated to a temperature where the coating softens and can be easily removed mechanically. Removal of paint is never completely perfect, it requires additional mechanical cleaning, brushing and so on. It is not possible to tan products that are subject to deformation or joints. Higher temperature and prolonged action will cause pyrolysis (thermal decomposition), ie burning of the organic lacquer layer, which is carried out in special furnaces. Both methods are often used in removing paint hinges.
